Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, MO, to manage budget formulation, execution, and review across Civil Works O&M, General Regulatory, Emergency Management, and Overhead accounts. The role involves coordinating funding requests, advising managers, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, may undergo a suitability/background check, and expect a 10% TDY travel requirement with a possible 1-year

Responsibilities

Duties

• Perform a variety of budget administration functions in the formulation, execution and review of the Civil Works Operation and Maintenance, General Regulatory, Emergency Management, and Overhead accounts.
• Review and track status of obligations and expenditures for Civil Works Operation and Maintenance, General Regulatory, and Emergency Management appropriations received in the Kansas City District
• Advise managers and program/project managers on requirements for the preparation, documentation, and submission of budget requests.
• Coordinate funds request between District management, program/project managers, and customers.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Position requires a Financial Management Level 2 Certificate in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 US Code, section 1599d.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% for official duties/training.
