Takeda Pharmaceuticals America in Cambridge, MA seeks a Lead Counsel, Brand Attorney for the Oncology Business Unit to guide legal strategy for US and global brands, including pipeline assets.

You will advise on FDA laws, anti-kickback, privacy, and transparency issues, collaborating with Ethics & Compliance, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to mitigate risk and enable compliant commercialization.

Qualificações

• JD and bar in at least one jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a pharmaceutical or device company.
• Experience advising commercial and medical functions.
• Experience with the laws impacting the commercial business operations of pharmaceutical and device companies, including the Antikickback Statute, the False Claims Act (FCA), the FDCA, the Medicaid Statute, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and the ACA.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in high-pressure, matrixed environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal guidance to brand teams within the Oncology BU.
• Review and advise on brand material with risk-based guidance.
• Advise on FDA laws, anti-kickback, and transparency rules.
• Collaborate with Ethics, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to support policy and monitoring frameworks.
• Negotiate complex commercial vendor agreements.
• Develop knowledge of Takeda’s business and changes in law that affect client areas.
• Improve ways of working using digital solutions.
