Job summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is seeking a General Manager for its greater Philadelphia branch. The role drives operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction across field service, sales, and team development.

You will own the P&L, lead technicians and staff, and partner with leadership to expand commercial accounts while maintaining service excellence and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in operations, service, or branch management with hands-on P&L or budget responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead supervisors, office staff, and technicians.
• Record of meeting sales, margin, and cost goals including AR management.
• Experience in sales and business development, including securing commercial accounts and selling preventive maintenance contracts.
• Strong field-service operations knowledge: dispatch, routing, inventory control, and warranty handling.

Responsibilities

• Own the branch P&L, pricing decisions, repair budget oversight, and parts expenditure approval.
• Oversee daily scheduling, dispatch, and routing to meet customer needs promptly.
• Monitor branch results monthly (P&L, sales, expenditures, forecasts) and explain variances to VP Operations.
• Lead customer relationships, resolve escalations, and manage SLAs with corporate accounts.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow high-margin recurring revenue and new business.
