Job summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is seeking a General Manager for its greater Philadelphia branch. You will own the branch's operations and financials, lead a team of technicians, dispatch, and administration, and drive profitability and service quality in a hands-on role.

You will manage sales, budgets, inventory, and customer relationships, while ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards of workmanship across all service activities.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in operations, service, or branch management with P&L or budget responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead a team of supervisors, office staff, and technicians.
• Track record of meeting sales, margin, and cost goals, including AR management.
• Experience in sales and business development, including landing new commercial accounts.
• Strong command of field-service operations: dispatch, routing, parts control, and warranty handling.
• Proficiency with service-management platforms, CRM systems, and standard business software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the branch P&L and sales budget; drive performance and customer satisfaction.
• Lead daily field operations: scheduling, dispatch, routing, and service delivery to residential and commercial customers.
• Grow commercial accounts and recurring revenue through preventive-maintenance programs and contracts.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop technicians and support staff; align goals and accountability.
• Ensure safety, compliance, licensing, and equipment maintenance across the branch.
