Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior BOM Sourcing Engineer (Senior Product Sourcing Engineer) to own the supply chain for the Intelligence & Space line. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to manage BOMs, supplier onboarding, pricing, and total cost of material.

You will drive on-time delivery, work with strategic suppliers, and optimize lead times and costs across NPI and mass production, including risk assessments and supplier rationalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs.
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Ashville, OH.
• This role will be based temporarily at Santa Ana, CA for a 3 month training period before transitioning to Ashville, OH.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain for the Anduril Intelligence & Space BOM.
• Lead supplier selection and onboarding of vendors.
• Drive on-time delivery and reduce lead times.
• Develop manufacturing BOM with cross-functional teams to ramp production.
• Manage total cost of the program including NPI and mass production.
• Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility.
• Complete BOM risk assessment and alternate sourcing.
• Ensure component qualifications ahead of production.
• Lead cost engineering to converge cost curve to product cost.
• Handle ad-hoc costs like tariffs and cost inflation.
• Manage supply issues and ensure on-time delivery at target cost.
