Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior BOM Sourcing Engineer for Intelligence Systems to own the end-to-end supply chain for the Anduril Intelligence & Space business line. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to source, onboard vendors, and manage the total BOM across lifecycles.

The role requires an engineering degree, 8+ years in sourcing or electronics/mechanical design, and an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement or electronics/mechanical design.
Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Willingness to travel 10–40% of the time.
Willingness to relocate onsite in Ashville, OH.
Temporary training in Santa Ana, CA for 3 months.

Responsibilities

Deep dive into engineering BOM with engineering teams to ensure parts can be sourced.
Conduct supplier selection leveraging approved list and onboard vendors for Space & Intelligence.
Drive on-time delivery and break traditional lead-time constraints.
Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through scoping, trade-offs, should-cost models, and clear SOWs.
Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM for ramp production.
Manage total program cost including NPI and mass production.
Map value-stream to optimize lead times and flexibility.
Complete BOM risk assessments and alternate sourcing.
Ensure component qualifications ahead of production.
Reduce complexity through commonality and supplier rationalization.
Lead cost engineering to converge cost curves to product cost; manage tariffs and inflation.
