Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior BOM Sourcing Engineer for Intelligence Systems to own end-to-end supply chain for the Anduril Intelligence & Space business line. You will work with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to source, price, and negotiate the total BOM, from part design through mass production, including NPI and cost optimization.

The role requires 8+ years in sourcing engineering, a US Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs.
Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Ashville, OH.
This role will be based temporarily at Santa Ana, CA for a 3 month training period before transitioning to Ashville, OH.

Responsibilities

Deep dive into your engineering BOM, collaborating with engineering to ensure sourceability.
Conduct supplier selection using approved lists and onboarding of new vendors.
Drive on-time delivery and break industry lead-times and constraints.
Accelerate product development with strategic suppliers and clear statements of work.
Simulate mechanical and electronics designs for BOM optimization.
Consolidate manufacturing BOM for ramp production with high flexibility.
Manage total cost of the program including NPI and mass production.
Value-stream map to optimize lead time and flexibility.
Complete BOM risk assessment with alternate sourcing.
