University of Central Florida seeks a strategic operator to guide Cenfluence's growth and member engagement across Florida. The Business Development Director I will oversee grants, budgeting, reporting, and staff performance while cultivating relationships with technology companies and entrepreneurs.

The role focuses on program development, operations, and stakeholder outreach to drive industry clustering and innovation-driven economic development across the Corridor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in innovation-driven economic development, technology commercialization, entrepreneurial support, grants, or industry cluster management.
• Strong operational discipline, judgment, and ability to turn ideas into sustainable results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant compliance, financial planning, administrative systems, staff performance, program reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support development and implementation of services to grow industries and entrepreneurs within Cenfluence.
• Direct supervision of cluster managers and administrative staff; oversee training and development.
• Engage with entrepreneurs and member companies to address needs and opportunities.
• Maintain database systems and KPI reporting for Cenfluence, ensuring data security and timely reporting.
