Job summary

Our Community Ambulance is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist for EMS to join Community Ambulance Patient Accounts in Macon, GA. This full-time role supports operations by implementing new technologies, researching cost-saving solutions, and preparing EMS reports.

You will lead process improvements, ensure CMS and local laws compliance, coach staff, and contribute to risk management. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, RescueNet Billing, and SmartSheet is required.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience and nine years of relevant experience.
• CAC certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean MVR; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with EMS Operations to identify and implement new technologies.
• Oversee daily quality improvement reporting and prepare EMS reports and proposals.
• Design, implement and maintain processes to maximize quality of operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance, coaching and training to associates and supervise staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with CMS and other applicable laws governing business and associate relations.
