Job summary

U.S. Oral Surgery Management is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist I to manage patient balances, insurance claims, and denials. You will follow up on accounts, communicate with patients and practices, and help maximize reimbursement.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and proficiency with patient management systems; experience in medical or dental environments is a plus, and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical/dental environments a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, practices and coworkers to resolve balances and billing questions.
• Monitor aging accounts and follow up on insurance and patient payments.
• Update billing systems and maintain accurate records of statements and payments.
• Assist in preparation of claims status and denial research to maximize reimbursement.
• Support other RCM staff and managers to ensure timely resolution of accounts.
