Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist in Houston, TX, to manage billing and collections across multiple projects. You will prepare invoices, monitor aging reports, and resolve billing issues while supporting compliance and cash flow planning.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in AR within contracting. Proficiency with JD Edwards, MS Word and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Two years of accounts receivable experience with a contracting company preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; JD Edwards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bill and collect on time and material, lump sum, and GMP contracts; create invoices in JD Edwards or upload to customer portals.
• Assist in preparing accounts receivable reports, monitor outstanding balances, deposit checks, and reconcile deposits to bank statements.
• Provide excellent customer service while supporting compliance with payroll, MWBE, and Pay or Play reporting requirements.
• Backup duties include receptionist coverage and scheduling inspections; provide cross-functional administrative support during peak workloads.
