Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Two years of directly applicable accounts receivable experience with a contracting company preferred.
• Knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under deadlines with interruptions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with general office equipment, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and JD Edwards preferred.
• Professional customer service approach and accountability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed; no driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Billing & Collections: bill and collect on varied contract types; create invoices in JD Edwards and manage customer portals.
• Accounts Receivable Support: prepare AR reports, monitor balances, assist audits, forecast cash flow, and reconcile deposits.
• Customer Service & Compliance: maintain professional service, ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
• Backup Duties: receptionist coverage and cross-functional admin support during peak periods.
