Job summary

Henry Ford Health, based in Detroit, seeks a Lead Business Intelligence Developer to lead data extraction, modeling, and reporting for executives and clinical leaders. You will mentor developers, build complex dashboards, and ensure timely, accurate insights across care delivery and operations.

Must have 6–7 years healthcare or business experience, plus expertise in SQL, advanced Excel, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Business or Applied Science.
• 6-7 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
• Expert in SQL, advanced Excel, report building, tool development, requirement gathering and technical documentation.
• Experience in developing Relational Databases, Data Models, Data Visualizations, curated datasets, data cubes or EMR report development.
• Experience with Enterprise Databases or EMR systems and SCM/version control for code.

Responsibilities

• Influence with data insights to help leaders make actionable decisions.
• Document process flows and monitor accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with leaders to design metrics, reports, and data solutions.
• Research and improve existing data assets and strategies.
• Lead and mentor team members; provide feedback and guidance.
• Interact with C-suite and physician leaders to present findings.
