Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a Principal Business Intelligence Analyst to drive a data-driven culture across the health system. You will serve as a trusted advisor, gathering data, building reports, and delivering actionable insights to executives, physicians, and staff.

You will develop complex dashboards, mentor peers, and ensure timely delivery of analytics aligned with strategic goals. Strong collaboration with EMR reporting and database teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science; required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of six years of experience in healthcare or business settings; expert in BI tools and report building.
• Experience with relational databases and data visualizations; strong communication skills.
• Epic Clarity/Caboodle certification and Lean/Six Sigma certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data, generates reports, and provides actionable interpretation to customers.
• Develops routine and ad-hoc reports; implements improved reporting processes.
