Job summary

People Technology And Processes at Stennis Space Center, MS seeks a Business Intelligence and Analytics Specialist to support data analytics strategies, develop BI platforms, and deliver KPI-driven insights for senior leadership. The role requires extensive BI, data visualization, and cross-functional collaboration to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include developing dashboards, assisting with data conversion projects, and coordinating with KM and department heads to align business

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years' experience with Project Management or Business Intelligence and Data Analytics with no Degree, or six (6) years' experience with Project Management or Business Intelligence and Data Analytics with a degree from a U.S. accredited college in either Education, Engineering, or Instructional Development.
• Six (6) years’ experience working with and supporting business and/or technology users in the area of Business Intelligence, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
• Three (3) years’ experience leveraging multiple technology platforms, such as Excel, Access, Tableau and other SOCOM approved software/databases when made available, to support program strategies and recommend solutions that meet business goals.
• Three (3) years’ experience of advanced data visualization and reporting proficiency with standard Business Intelligence applications, e.g., Tableau.
• Two (2) years’ experience in analyzing high volumes of data for multiple purposes in a dynamic environment.
• Three (3) years’ experience with designing and/or producing analytic-based reports.
• Three (3) years’ experience with finance strategy, analysis, and forecasting.
• Three (3) years’ experience with designing and implementing IT Process solutions on enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support data analytics strategies across the organization and generate reports for distribution.
• Assist with Business Intelligence platform and data conversion product development.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable data to inform business strategies.
• Assist with PM methodologies and support leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate with KM to integrate planning and implementation of knowledge initiatives across the command.
• Provide technical expertise in dashboards, reports, and analytics for senior leadership.
