Job summary

ICMA is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead data collection, analysis, and reporting across digital marketing, AMS, and research initiatives. You will transform data into actionable insights to support campaign performance, membership intelligence, and executive decision‑making.

The role requires commuting to ICMA's HQ near Union Station in Washington, DC, with a salary range of $86,295 to $107,867 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in data analytics or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Tableau or Power BI, SQL and Excel.
• Experience querying and reporting from AMS/CRM platforms and marketing email tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations across multiple platforms.
• Analyze AMS data to support membership, program, event, and revenue reporting.
• Track membership trends and provide insights to support recruitment and retention.
• Monitor digital marketing performance and optimize campaigns with KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with IT for data migrations, audits, and data quality improvements.
