Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Benefits and Retirement Senior Analyst to join our corporate HR team in McLean, VA. You will lead benefits compliance, vendor governance, and data reporting for Health, Welfare, Retirement, and Leaves programs, while supporting the Defined Benefit Pension Plan administration and annual audit.

You’ll collaborate across Benefits, Retirement, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Communications, and HR to ensure compliant, engaging programs for Team Members.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in benefits, human resources, retirement plan administration, payroll, finance, compliance, or related area.
• Experience maintaining project trackers, documentation, and records to support audits, compliance requirements, and ongoing plan administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting and filtering data, using formulas, creating pivot tables, and reconciling data across multiple sources
• Experience preparing communications, meeting materials, reports, or presentations for a variety of audiences
• Onsite in McLean, VA

Responsibilities

• Lead benefits compliance activities across health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs, including federal and state reporting, oversight of private plan reapproval filings, implementation of regulatory requirements related to state and local leave laws, coordination of required participant notices, and support for organizational changes such as new FEIN setup and benefit plan implementation.
• Manage relationships with benefit vendors through regular governance meetings, operational reviews, issue resolution, performance monitoring, and service delivery oversight. Partner with internal teams to develop Team Member communications, educational resources, and benefits-focused webinars that support engagement and understanding.
• Analyze benefits and workforce data to develop dashboards, performance metrics, and business review reporting that support decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across Health and Welfare programs.
• Lead projects supporting Health and Welfare plan administration, including document management, process improvements, operational model reviews, and efforts to enhance compliance, efficiency, and participant experience.
• Support governance and administration of Hilton's Defined Benefit Pension Plan by partnering with recordkeepers and internal stakeholders, researching complex participant inquiries, interpreting plan provisions and historical records, preparing participant communications, and driving resolution of pension-related issues.
• Serve as an important contributor to the annual Defined Benefit Plan audit by coordinating audit deliverables, responding to auditor requests, validating data integrity, managing project timelines, and ensuring completion of all audit requirements.
