Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking a Benefits Manager to design, administer, and continuously improve our comprehensive employee benefits and well-being programs. The role balances hands-on daily tasks with strategic program development and vendor management.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in benefits within large organizations, strong HRIS (UltiPro) experience, and certification progress (CCP/CEBS/CBP) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or HR or related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive benefits experience in a large organization.
• Experience in a union environment desirable.
• Certification like CCP/CEBS/CBP or progress toward is preferred.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, communicate, and administer employee benefits and well-being programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, COBRA, HSA).
• Lead benefits, well-being, and leave/benefits administration, including staff management and tier 2 support.
• Identify benefit options by studying programs and consulting with advisors.
• Manage vendor and carrier relationships, cost monitoring, service levels, data accuracy, and issue escalation.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA and other regulations; prepare filings with IRS/DOL.
• Oversee annual open enrollment and milestones; report benefit usage to employees.
• Respond to employee questions by interpreting policies; prepare summarized trend reports.
• Anticipate legislative changes and implement corresponding programs and procedures.
• Contribute to team objectives by delivering results as directed.
