Job summary

Fortune Electrical Construction LLC is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to expand our commercial electrical construction footprint. You will develop strategic plans, identify opportunities, and grow relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and public agencies.

You will lead preconstruction collaboration with estimating and operations, pursue competitive bids, and represent the company at industry events while maintaining a robust CRM and forecast

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of business development or sales experience within commercial construction or electrical contracting.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction processes.
• Existing relationships within the commercial construction industry are preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and close new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and pursue new commercial electrical construction opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with: General Contractors, Developers, Architects, Engineers, Property Owners, Municipalities, Government Agencies, Facility Managers.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, association meetings, and industry conferences.
• Monitor bidding opportunities and identify projects aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations teams during the preconstruction process.
• Assist with proposal development, presentations, and client interviews.
• Develop long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business.
• Research emerging markets and identify new opportunities for company growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline reporting, and forecasting.
• Represent Fortune Electrical Construction professionally within the community and industry.
