Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Full-Time General Engineer-GS-0801-14 at JB Andrews AFB, Camp Springs, MD. The role drives program direction for facilities and systems, advancing from tactical to executive management in next-generation beddowns.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with a track record of managing complex basing actions, regulatory knowledge, and cross-functional leadership. Travel and security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Experience with basing and infrastructure for large-scale programs.
• Ability to lead site surveys and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of military construction principles, laws, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: serve as technical basing expert for ANG facilities and systems, including MILCON and SRM.
• Budgeting & funding: develop and defend facilities evaluations for new missions or conversions.
• Strategic Planning: lead SATAF efforts, coordinate environmental milestones and cross-functional teams.
• Technical Expertise: act as senior expert for facilities and infrastructure project execution.
