Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Project Manager for the Commercial Bank in Charlotte, NC. You will lead critical programs, govern governance routines, and partner with stakeholders to deliver outcomes that impact the bottom line.

You will work within the Customer Transformation Office, driving initiatives from launches of new products to updates of existing features, balancing strategy and execution with strong communication and organizational agility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• MBA or Masters degree preferred.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or elevate as needed.
• Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Exhibit a proven track record of project management with the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and collaboration skills across all levels to influence outcomes.
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.
