Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of retail banking branch renovation programs. The ideal candidate will be client-focused, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple fast-paced projects while ensuring consistency, quality, budget adherence, and minimal disruption to banking operations.

Role requires 25%-30% regional travel to project sites when required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing retail banking or renovation projects.
• Experience overseeing multi-site renovation programs.
• Experience in occupied facilities while ensuring business continuity.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of branch renovation projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate and manage stakeholders including banking clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules with milestones and critical paths.
• Ensure governance, standards, processes, and reporting frameworks are applied across all projects.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports, risk registers, and leadership updates.
• Oversee renovations to meet client design standards, brand requirements, security protocols, and operational needs.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost controls to stay within financial parameters.
• Coordinate activities to minimize disruption to branch operations during renovations.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, construction teams, vendors, and banking operations teams.
• Monitor design development, permitting activities, procurement schedules, construction progress, and closeout requirements.
• Manage contractor and consultant performance for quality, safety, schedule, and budget.
• Review project documentation to ensure alignment with goals.
• Lead issue resolution for field conditions, RFIs, change requests, and challenges.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for successful delivery.
• Support value engineering and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or compliance.
• Ensure renovations comply with building codes, accessibility, life safety, and banking security guidelines.
