Job summary

Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, seeks an Associate Vice President for Auxiliaries to provide strategic leadership for Culinary Services, Housing and Residence Life, and Retail operations within the Division of Student Life. You will set departmental goals, implement business systems, and promote a culture of student success and accountability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, higher education administration, hospitality management, finance, public administration, facilities management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in auxiliary services, higher education administration, hospitality, housing, dining, retail, conference services, facilities, or another comparably complex operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and an additional two years of progressively responsible leadership experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets, revenue-producing operations, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading strategic planning, operational improvement, financial stewardship, and organizational change.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Establish and communicate departmental goals; implement effective business systems and practices.
