Highlights Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Authorization & Finance Operations Specialist to support our ABA therapy centers and Hospice agencies across the southeast. The role emphasizes ownership of authorization workflows, AP and finance tasks, and ongoing process improvements to sustain timely services.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration, authorization/utilization management support, revenue-cycle operations, accounts payable, or finance administration.
• Experience with invoice processing, vendors, corporate credit cards, or AP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage authorization workflows from initiation through completion and track requirements, dates, and documentation.
• Review and submit documentation for completeness and accuracy to payors.
• Proactively follow up with clinicians and internal stakeholders on missing information.
• Maintain accurate status information in systems and tracking tools.
• Develop standardized procedures, checklists, and accountability measures.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely using AP systems; ensure proper coding and terms.
• Coordinate invoice processing to ensure timely payments and approvals.
• Assist with vendor setup, contracts review, and corporate credit-card administration.
• Support finance leadership with reporting, reconciliation, and month-end activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements.
