Job summary

Weaver is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Banking and Insurance practice within the Financial Services group. You will lead audit engagements for insurers, banks, credit unions, and specialty finance institutions, guiding teams and coordinating with Partners.

This role requires CPA, 5+ years of public accounting, and solid US GAAP knowledge; you will mentor staff, manage budgets, and contribute to client service and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on financial services audit clients.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SAP as applied to insurance and/or banking entities.
• Experience with banking regulatory frameworks (FDICIA, NCUA) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of financial services audit areas (insurance and banking).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of complex financial services audits and engagements.
• Mentor and develop Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors.
• Collaborate with Partners on client service, project management, and business development.
