Job summary

Victoria's Secret is seeking a Sr. Assortment Planner to drive data-driven decisions for a multi-million-dollar category.

You will analyze tier performance, craft financial views of assortment productivity, and partner with space planning, merchants, and planning to optimize store-level product mix and inventory efficiency. The role focuses on targets, productivity benchmarks, and alignment of financials with visual presentation across tiers and stores.

Responsibilities

• Report and analyze tier performance on a floor set, monthly and seasonal.
• Create tier targets in sales dollars, units and margin at a category level.
• Create a financial view of assortment productivity by tier with recommended style and choice counts.
• Partner with space planning on productivity benchmarks and association with assortment.
• Partner with merchants to align financial recommendation with visual impression.
• Partner with merchandise planning to align chain financial and CC count with tier financials and CC count.
• Develop and maintain financial benchmarks of style/choice productivity by category and class.
• Analyze store tier information, making recommendations by store based on volume and space, as well as maintain store lists reflecting store tier changes.
• Review productivity by fixture and cabinet at the store / store tier level and make recommendations in alignment with capacity requirements.
• Analyze choice productivity and target weeks of supply to establish choice targets that optimize inventory productivity and sell-through.
• Evaluate fashion versus basic productivity by tier and provide merchants with guidance on fashion refresh rates to optimize inventory and minimize markdowns.
• Analyze store and sub-brand productivity to recommend the optimal number of assortment groups, then leverage store-level data to assign localized assortment groups and tier assortments based on customer preferences and store productivity.
• Champion change, taking risks as needed and demonstrating flexibility
