Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Sr Analyst, Assortment Planning to support Category Managers with insights and recommendations on assortment and inventory mix across Company Owned & Independent NAPA stores and distribution centers. You will work with Category Managers to optimize assortment decisions and balance forecasted demand with inventory and space efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytics and process improvement experience.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and BigQuery.
• Experience with merchandising and assortment modeling applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to present to leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics or related field.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive inventory productivity analyses by location and SKU.
• Identify space distribution opportunities across categories.
• Develop & refine cross-functional review model for assortment decisions.
• Create post-review SKU add analytics to assess incrementality.
• Support forecasts by SKU to Inventory Planning and Replenishment.
• Help build onboarding and training programs for the new team.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Strategy to build tools and analyze results.
