Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Sr Analyst, Assortment Planning to join the NAPA Analytics & Modeling team. You will partner with Category Managers to optimize assortment mix, using data-driven insights to balance sales, inventory and space across stores and distribution centers.

You will build and refine analyses, develop tool-driven processes, and help standardize reviews for cross-functional stakeholders while supporting new product introductions and life-cycle decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Analytics and Process Improvement experience.
• Strong Excel and BigQuery skills.
• Power BI visualization expertise.
• Knowledge of merchandising and assortment modeling tools preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory productivity and optimize mix by location and SKU.
• Support cross-functional reviews and implement process improvements.
• Develop tools to guide assortment decisions and optimization.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Analytics teams on tool development.
• Assist in onboarding and training for new team.
