Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assortment Planner at its corporate office to partner with Category Directors and Merchants to define and optimize the product assortment strategy. You will develop assortment plans, evaluate item performance, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence category success.

Responsibilities include supporting PLRs/BRs, maintaining plans aligned with financial objectives, and collaborating with Merchandising, Inventory, and Store Ops to ensure cohesive execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in assortment planning, merchandising, or related analytical role.
• Experience with assortment planning software and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for PLRs and BRs with accurate data and insights.
• Develop and maintain assortment plans aligned with category strategies and financial objectives.
• Utilize assortment optimization tools to evaluate item and store clustering.
