Job summary

Belong, Inc. seeks a senior corporate counsel to serve as the legal advisor to the executive leadership team and Board, guiding on legal, regulatory, and risk matters across the company.

You will oversee corporate governance, contracts, compliance, IP, labor, data privacy, and manage outside counsel on litigation and major transactions, including M&A, financing, and partnerships, with fluent Spanish required.

Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active BAR admission in NY, FL or CA
• At least 3 years of real estate and corporate transactional experience
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel on litigation and major transactions

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal advisor to CEO and Board on strategy and risk
• Oversee corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and data privacy
• Draft, review, negotiate vendor, partnership, and licensing agreements
• Lead internal investigations and manage outside counsel
• Support corporate transactions from due diligence to closing
