Guidehouse is seeking a dedicated consultant for the State and Local Government practice to serve a broad range of state, county, city, and nonprofit clients. You will help analyze policy, design programs, and develop implementation plans while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Travel up to 25% may be required. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, client communication, and delivering tangible, actionable recommendations that translate strategy into action.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field; student status through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027.
• Strong aptitude in managing client projects, communicating with stakeholders, and delivering actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Support state and local government clients across multiple domains including policy, program design, and performance improvement.
• Lead or assist in client work: baseline assessments, future-state visions, and implementation planning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and communicate complex findings to varied audiences.
