Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Buyer to replenish inventory by analyzing data and using business systems to make buying decisions. You will aim to buy at the lowest cost, expedite supplier status, and manage exceptions with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily purchasing reports, determining quantities, and assisting stock replenishment, special orders, and drop-ship buying. You will also follow up with suppliers on order status and delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of purchasing within a supply chain environment preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory concepts is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily purchasing reports and determines quantities to purchase.
• Assist stock replenishment, SO and DS buying with economical methods.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status and delivery.
