Job summary
The Cabaret seeks an Associate Artistic & Education Director to shape artistic programming, education initiatives, and community engagement. This leader reports to the Artistic Director & CEO and drives artist development, partnerships, and educational programs.
Responsibilities include program planning, conservatory leadership, and coordination across marketing, development, and production to advance artistic excellence and community impact.
Qualifications
- Degree in Arts Administration, Performing Arts, Education, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in artistic programming, arts administration, producing, or related fields.
- Experience supervising staff, teaching artists, interns, volunteers, or contractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual and multi-year artistic programming in collaboration with the Artistic Director & CEO.
- Lead education initiatives via The Cabaret Conservatory and related programs.
- Oversee digital programming and manage the YouTube content and approvals.
- Foster strategic partnerships with schools, arts orgs, and community groups.
- Manage artist engagement, production coordination, and budget oversight.
- Support fundraising and donor engagement through storytelling and events.
