Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in Arts Administration, Education, Public Humanities, Nonprofit Management or related field.
• Seven to ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in arts education, community engagement, or nonprofit sectors.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of arts education, civic engagement, and community-centered program design.
• Proven track record in developing strategic partnerships across communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for education and community partnership initiatives.
• Build and steward long-term relationships with community organizations, schools, artists, and partners.
• Lead civic engagement strategy with sustained partnerships rooted in trust and mutual learning.
• Oversee education and program leadership across youth, educators, and community groups.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate education and community engagement organization-wide.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, contracts, and program calendars.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop department staff; ensure inclusive culture.
