Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Public Administration or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible work experience, including three years in a supervisory or management role.
• Government setting experience preferred.
• Experience in unionized environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for three divisions within the Department of Building and Development.
• Align and integrate work between divisions to streamline development applications.
• Support division managers and develop the Project Coordinator program.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners (Transportation, Planning, General Services, County Administration, Board of Supervisors, Loudoun Water, VDOT).
• Provide performance feedback and manage staff per HR policies, ensuring adherence to County procedures.
• Interact professionally with stakeholders including leadership, attorneys, developers, engineers, and the public.
