Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for an Assistant Corporate Controller on behalf of a multi-billion-dollar, North American-headquartered industrial company.

This newly created leadership role reports to the top corporate accounting leader in North America and will drive consolidations, corporate accounting, and technical accounting across a sophisticated financial reporting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Progressive accounting and controllership experience within a large, complex organization.
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and corporate accounting.
• Experience leading or overseeing multiple accounting disciplines and teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals across functional areas.
• Drive accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of corporate financial reporting.
• Oversee the consolidated close process and ensure consistency across a complex structure.
• Partner with technical accounting leadership on complex matters.
• Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and documentation across the corporate function.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business finance, tax, treasury, internal audit, and other corporate functions.
• Support senior leadership on complex accounting matters and strategic priorities.
• Develop accounting talent and career paths within the controllership organization.
• Shape the evolution of the corporate accounting operating model.
