Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Manager, Asset Protection to lead shortage prevention efforts at a high-visibility store location. The role oversees executive staff, drives loss-prevention initiatives, and partners with Store, Division and Regional leaders to safeguard merchandise and reduce shrink.

You will manage investigations, audits, and the annual inventory process while mentoring colleagues and upholding Macy's values and community commitments.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience directing teams to meet shortage prevention goals.
• Ability to translate data into actionable shortage-reduction plans.
• Strong relationship-building with store, division and regional leaders.
• Analytical skills to analyze theft trends using reports and systems.
• Clear, concise communication with diverse audiences including senior leadership.
• Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead store executive team to plan, implement and monitor shortage programs.
• Develop relationships with Store, Division and Regional leaders to gain support for shortage goals.
• Manage investigations, apprehensions, and recoveries related to theft.
• Analyze theft trends using AP reports and available technology.
• Ensure AP policies are understood and executed by the team.
• Support annual inventory processes and payroll expense monitoring.
• Lead special projects beyond normal scope and mentor staff.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect in actions and training.
