Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred in Education, Higher Education, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• A combination of education and experience may be taken into consideration based on the applicant’s credentials.
• Experience in the methodologies of evaluation, student learning outcomes assessment, survey research.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical data use, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
• Experience with higher education accreditation processes (e.g., Middle States Commission on Higher Education).
• Experience working with faculty and staff on assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Tableau, Power BI, or similar software) and familiarity with assessment management systems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective, collegial working relationships with campus constituents along with the ability to work within a culturally diverse organization.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead institution-wide student learning outcomes assessment efforts, promoting effective and sustainable practices for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to design, implement, and improve assessment strategies for academic, administrative, and student success units.
• Provide consultation and assistance on assessment design, methodology, data collection, and analysis.
• Partner with faculty governance and campus stakeholders to support the assessment of student learning and continuous improvement.
• Develop, facilitate, and deliver workshops and training on assessment practices for academic, administrative, and student success units.
• Support and help coordinate the university’s academic, administrative, and student success periodic review processes.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing processes that align annual assessment and periodic review with institutional planning and improvement priorities.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and report assessment data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Maintain and support the use of assessment management systems and reporting tools.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and communication materials that translate data into actionable insights.
• Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate use of institutional data.
• Contribute to accreditation-related activities, including documentation, reporting, and compliance efforts (e.g., Middle States Commission on Higher Education).
• Support and ensure alignment of assessment and program review processes with accreditation standards.
• Support the faculty course evaluation process.
• Develop and maintain assessment resources, including manuals, guides, and training materials.
• Serve on institutional committees, as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
