Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks a Coordinator of Assessment to support schools in administering national, state, and local standardized assessments within the GCPS Balanced Assessment System.

The role requires a Master’s degree with Georgia certification eligibility, 5 years of teaching experience including leadership, and strong collaboration, data interpretation, and communication skills to ensure accurate testing processes and materials management.

Qualifikationen

• Provide high-quality professional learning to stakeholders on assessment administration.
• Coordinate, supervise, manage and support the K-12 balanced assessment system.
• Interpret, evaluate, and articulate assessment data to stakeholders.
• Provide concise written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of testing administration.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills in MS Office and assessment platforms.

Aufgaben

• Create training materials for Testing Coordinators and Examiners for standardized assessments (Georgia Milestones, GAA, ACCESS, CogAT, MAP, iReady, PSAT, etc.).
• Support School Testing Coordinators through clear communication via meetings, emails, phone, and center systems.
• Post and update standardized assessment information in the communication center.
• Monitor local school testing processes during test windows.
• Coordinate with vendors and GCPS Test Distribution Center for timely materials and returns.
• Arrange freight/shipping with vendors and TDC staff.
• Work with GaDOE, vendors, and GCPS to follow guidelines of the assessment program.
• Coordinate adding students, teachers, and leaders to assessment platforms.
• Ensure technology configurations for assessments are up-to-date for online platforms.
• Collaborate with Special Education and Multilingual Learners to update training guides and accommodations.
• Support Executive Director of Accountability and Assessment and Director of Assessment on testing matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
