Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for ARM CPUs to own the commercial lifecycle of custom silicon within the Silicon Sourcing Center of Excellence. You will work with engineering and silicon operations to optimize total cost and secure supply for Google's data center infrastructure.

You will manage high-stakes vendor relationships, develop cost models, and align technology roadmaps with commercial strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical/engineering field.
• 7+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within semiconductor, hardware, or cloud infra.
• Experience negotiating vendor agreements with merchant silicon suppliers.
• Experience building cost models and evaluating total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business and commercial partner for Google ARM CPUs, coordinating with silicon operations and eng teams to optimize costs.
• Develop should-cost models and translate market data into negotiation strategies.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of compute components, manage buffer inventories, and negotiate delivery SLAs.
• Lead global procurement, pricing negotiation, and contract structuring for CPUs.
