Job summary

HarbisonWalker International is seeking an Application and Technical Support Specialist III to promote refractory products and strengthen customer relationships through expert guidance and tailored technical support.

You will help develop market growth strategies, conduct product launches, and share knowledge with internal teams and customers to address inquiries and optimize solutions.

Qualifications

• Four to six years in refractory technical marketing, R&D, QA, or sales.
• BS degree in Engineering, Ceramics, Metallurgy, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of refractory products, installation methods, and customer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Be an expert on HarbisonWalker International products and applications; provide technical advice and training.
• Analyze complex application needs and refine lining designs and installation methods.
• Develop business cases for new product development and execute launch plans.
• Create promotions and marketing strategies; monitor industry trends and forecasts.
• Perform market analysis and assist in product portfolio alignment with market plans.
• Assist in product rationalization and portfolio standardization.
