Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Application/Specification Engineer for its Industrial Specialties Wire & Harness team in Highland Heights, KY. You will translate customer specs into manufacturable solutions and work across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to drive product success.

The role covers design interpretation, BOM creation, ECN support, and portfolio improvements throughout the product lifecycle. On-site in Highland Heights with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across functions.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings and specifications to develop manufacturable products.
• Create and maintain BOMs for quotations and production releases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
• Support ECN processes and engineering change management.
• Coordinate technical documentation for product launches and manufacturing implementation.
