CarMax Midtown Office in Richmond, VA is seeking a Manager within Retail & HR Strategy to lead cross-functional initiatives that shape the customer experience and workforce decisions across Product, Technology, HR and Operations.

The role focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and strategic thinking to inform priorities, build scalable analytical tools, and partner with business teams to drive the company’s omnichannel transformation while upholding CarMax values and governance.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of analytical or strategic experience.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL or Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Be a thought leader who helps set the strategic direction for business partners in Product, Technology, HR and Operations.
• Partner across the business to ensure the strategy of all teams you support ladders to CarMax’s overall vision and strategic plan.
• Develop & enhance analytical tools, such as data sets, models, reports, and dashboards, utilizing them to monitor performance and drive ongoing performance.
• Generate value-creating ideas and work with business partners to prioritize and activate against these ideas.
• Design & analyze tests to evaluate the effectiveness of changes to our products and operations.
