Job summary

CarMax Midtown Office seeks a Senior Manager for Retail & HR Strategy to lead analytical work across Product, Technology, HR, and Operations. You will partner with business units to align strategic initiatives with CarMax’s vision and drive performance using data-driven insights.

You will design tools and dashboards, develop actionable analyses, and generate ideas to improve customer experience and internal efficiency.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in an analytical or strategic role.
• A track record of excellent problem solving, strategic thinking, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be a thought leader who helps set the strategic direction for business partners in Product, Technology, HR and Operations.
• Partner across the business to ensure the strategy of all teams you support ladders to CarMax’s overall vision and strategic plan.
• Develop & enhance analytical tools, such as data sets, models, reports, and dashboards, utilizing them to monitor performance and drive ongoing performance.
• Generate value-creating ideas and work with business partners to prioritize and activate against these ideas.
• Design & analyze tests to evaluate the effectiveness of changes to our products and operations.
