Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst in Pensacola to lead data-driven strategic initiatives and analytics reporting. You will partner with operational leaders to develop market insights and track performance across service lines, driving growth and operational excellence.

The role requires strong critical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to mentor teammates while building scalable data infrastructure and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing, or Health Care is required.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Communications, Finance, Marketing, or Health Care is required.
• Two years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree is required.
• 5 years of experience in data analytics within a business development, marketing, strategic planning, health care operations setting or related work experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in data visualization programs such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverages data tools and resources to develop market and competitive analyses to drive strategic business decisions.
• Provides expert guidance on data strategy and analytics methodology; collaborating across multiple business functions while maintaining data integrity standards.
• Identifies data sources and data elements essential for inclusion in performance analyses in consultation with leadership.
• Leads end-to-end complex analytics initiatives supporting enterprise strategic priorities, growth plans, service line development, and operational excellence.
• Develops, manages and maintains data infrastructure for select external and internal data resources and identifies emerging trends.
• Trains and supports onboarding of new team members. Mentors analysts and provides technical guidance related to analytics tools, methodologies, and reporting standards.
• Supports organizational cadence of market performance review through the production of market and service line analyses.
• Assists in the maintenance of AHCA facility licenses and other related regulatory functions.
• Assists with organizational and leader performance tracking managed by the division.
• Works directly with the physician recruitment and physician enterprise management to track internal and external provider landscape changes.
• Leads utilization reporting to state agencies and national organizations as directed by leadership.
• Supports organizational project management activities and corporate strategic planning functions managed by the division.
