Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International client is seeking a Strategic Business Analyst to partner with the General Manager of the U.S. Business Unit.

You will transform financial, commercial, and operational data into clear insights to drive profitable growth. You will build financial and commercial models for investments, pricing decisions, and customer strategies, and support annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, analytics, or related field.
Several years in business analysis, FP&A, or strategic analytics.
Strong understanding of financial metrics, KPIs, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or consumer goods is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with the General Manager on strategic planning and key decisions.
Build financial and commercial models for investments, pricing, and customer strategies.
Support annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
Analyze sales by customer, territory, category, product, and salesperson.
Develop profitability analyses by customer, account, and product portfolio.
Evaluate new opportunities, pricing strategies, and customer investments.
Monitor gross and contribution margins and operating performance.
Create financial models to evaluate investments and initiatives.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
Support cross-functional improvement initiatives across Sales, Finance, and operations.
