Amgen is seeking an OI&A Commercial Analytics Director to lead the U.S. Obesity analytics strategy, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.

The role requires senior-level influence, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record in advanced analytics, AI, and decision-support initiatives. The position is on-site at the Thousand Oaks, CA campus with a flexible commuter arrangement and a robust total rewards plan.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with analytics experience required.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and translate data into clear recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners in a matrix environment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to senior commercial leadership and provide forward-looking insights.
• Own and evolve the secondary analytics agenda for the U.S. Obesity business.
• Integrate internal and external data to generate actionable insights on HCP and patient behavior, product adoption, and market performance.
• Translate analytical findings into recommendations shaping brand strategy, market development, and field execution.
• Lead executive performance management, scenario planning, and high-priority analyses to identify drivers and actions.
• Partner across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Forecasting, Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Value and Access, Medical, and other orgs to align assumptions.
• Direct internal and external analytics resources and ensure timelines and accountability for impact.
• Advance analytics capabilities with new data sources, AI, governance, and best practices.
