Job summary

Soni is seeking an Assortment Allocation Specialist to support store planning, inventory allocation, and product flow during a high-demand period. You will align product assortment with store performance and regional demand to optimize inventory, working across merchandising, planning, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has allocation/merchandise planning experience, strong Excel skills for large datasets, and familiarity with Looker or Microsoft D365.

Qualifications

• Experience in allocation, assortment planning, or merchandise/store planning.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets.
• Looker and/or Microsoft D365 familiarity is beneficial.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Retail, eCommerce, or consumer product experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute store-level assortment and allocation strategies to drive sales and inventory productivity.
• Support store planning initiatives, aligning product mix and inventory levels to store volume and regional demand.
• Monitor store performance, sell-through, and stock levels to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to inform assortment and allocation decisions.
• Support new store openings, product launches, and promotional planning.
• Troubleshoot inventory issues including stock imbalances and delivery timing challenges.
• Build and maintain reporting to support store planning and allocation insights.
• Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, and operations teams.
