Job summary

vineyard vines seeks an Allocation Manager to strategically distribute seasonal product and manage replenishments across doors, stores, and channels. You will partner with Planning, Merchandising, Logistics and Retail to optimize inventory and drive sell-through.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in allocation or planning, strong Excel and PowerBI skills, and experience with JDA/Blue Yonder. You will lead a small team and influence cross-functional decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of allocation and/or planning experience.
• Experience leading a small team (2-3 juniors).
• Strong collaboration with Planning, Merchandising, Logistics and Retail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Weekly Topline and Subdepartment Forecast of inventory flow and ownership by door.
• Create and maintain seasonal allocation plans and on time tracking to CFT.
• Manage in-season replenishment and inventory rebalancing to maximize sell-through and align with financial targets.
• Evaluate assortment changes and update allocation parameters and store profiles accordingly.
• Perform store analysis to recommend transfers based on regional performance or product demand.
• Partner with regional and store teams to support product requests and events.
• Manage opening/closing of seasonal doors and new stores or pop ups.
• Identify and communicate sales and inventory opportunities and provide risk-mitigation recommendations.
• Participate in store analytics for Weekly business reviews and Monthly OTB Meetings.
• Maintain SKU capacity by door with visual/planning teams pre- and in-season.
• Function as subject matter expert in allocation systems and best practices.
• Pre-season buy plan needs for presentations and pre-allocation strategies.
• Detailed style/color/size analyses to identify opportunities at store level.
• Weekly reporting on sales trends, shipping status, and allocation execution.
• Monitor stock-to-sales ratios and visibility into inventory performance.
• Post-season analysis to inform future strategies.
• Identify underperforming stores or categories and recommend actions.
• Seasonal Allocation Hindsighting reports for partners and sizing analysis.
• Deliver insights to cross-functional partners.
