Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Air Force Environmental Program Manager to lead environmental programs and contracts for the U.S. Air Force and related clients.

The role may be based in any approved WSP office in the United States and requires strong program leadership and governance. You will direct financial management, risk, scheduling, quality, and safety, coordinate with regional leaders, and shape opportunities under existing contracts while ensuring compliance and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years managing environmental programs for the U.S. Air Force.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience managing federal contracts and multiple task orders with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, subcontractors, and metrics.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting requirements, contract compliance, quality management, and client reporting.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve risks, delivery issues, staffing constraints, and contractual challenges.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with client relationship management.
  • Knowledge of Air Force environmental programs and project delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for Air Force environmental programs and task orders.
  • Oversee contract execution to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality.
  • Establish governance, procedures, performance measures, and reporting expectations.
  • Direct program finances, forecasts, invoicing, and backlog management.
  • Coordinate staffing with regional leaders to address workload constraints.
  • Guide managers through startup, execution, monitoring, changes, and closeout.
  • Monitor performance and implement timely corrective actions.
